I’m Sarah Pienig, a Canadian-born artist who fell head over heels in love with Tasmania and now calls it home. I discovered watercolour painting and surface pattern design almost by accident in my mid-30s, and what started as a creative curiosity quickly grew into Bosa Art Co — and the rest, as they say, is history.

My work is inspired by the beauty, colour and character of Australian nature, from native birds and botanicals to the landscapes and little everyday moments that make life special. I create joyful, colourful artwork that I hope brings a little happiness and connection to everyday life.

Through Bosa Art Co, I share my artwork as prints, stationery and gifts, and license my original designs to small businesses, giving my patterns new life across textiles, clothing, homewares and other products.
