Art Print - Emu Wren and Nothofagus gunnii -A5

I created this artwork as a playful celebration of Australian birds and native botanicals. I love mixing illustrative details with bright watercolour washes, layering feathers, leaves, and stems in a way that feels a little eclectic and full of movement, rather than perfectly planned.

Birds often steal the spotlight in my work. Their personalities, patterns, and quiet moments in the bush are endlessly inspiring, and I enjoy pairing them with bold, whimsical botanicals to create pieces that feel joyful and alive. Each element is painted intuitively, allowing the artwork to grow and evolve as I go. Not too perfect and never too serious.
