Who was Jimmy Possum and why a chair?
Well up to a few days ago I would have asked the same thing! But my friend introduced me to an actually " Jimmy Possum " Chair and I was in love. The history, the design and the mystery has captured me in a way that I had no choice but to paint this fascinating chair immediately!
Want more information on this "Jimmy Possum Chair"? Follow this link to a great article by Amanda Mackinnon of The Tasmanian Tuxedo that explains it all. Well except, who he actually is, because we honestly have no idea! He might have been an actual possum? https://www.thetasmaniantuxedo.com/all-stories/47-who-was-jimmy-possum/
