Artist in Residence - Glenys Lindner
"I’m an enthusiastic hobbyist. I developed an interest in bookbinding during my first fulltime job in a Bindery. My job was to simply use machinery and complete rudimentary bookbinding functions. Many years later I’ve taken those rudimentary skills and have started creating books. I enjoy creating books from items simply sourced; using no specialist equipment at all, often the materials are found or repurposed. During our session I’ll talk about bookbinding styles and materials; I’ll give you a guide and together we’ll create a simple 25 page A5 journal for you to take home. Hopefully, you can join me and we’ll together create a journal you will be proud of."
